Other than that life is just keeping us busy. Trevor was called to be young men’s president in our ward and I have had mixed feelings about it. I think it will be wonderful for those boys and of course for my husband. I appreciate the chance for him to serve but sometimes I have to laugh at the Lord’s timing. Here I am with these 2 month old twins trying desperately to get them on a schedule and my husband gets a calling that requires him to be gone from our home even more.
So along with his insane work hours that have him up at crazy hours and to bed early, he is now doing young men stuff a few nights a week (2-3) and more Saturdays and early to meetings on Sundays plus stuff on Sunday nights. In a nut shell, I don’t see much of him. But that the Lord blessed us with wonderful babies and I am happy to report I am sticking to my schedule for the girls with or without Trevor and it is going fantastically. The girls’ bedtime routine starts at 7ish and we get them fed and bathed and lotioned up and in their pj’s. Then it’s to bed they go at about 8ish. This is the part we are working on, they still fight sleep for about an hour and a half. Then they sleep till about 6:30, which is great because I feel energized and ready for the day and they got plenty of sleep and are always happy. I totally believe in schedules, they are like magic!!!

The girls are getting so big!!! They both weigh about 11 pounds now, which I know doesn’t sound like a lot at all but for them that’s almost double what the weighed when they were born. They eat very well!!! Ha ha. They are super good at holding up their heads, almost perfect at it. Riley will even push herself up a little when she is on her belly, we’re slightly worried she could be crawling in the next month or so!!! I’m sure Audrey will be right behind, like it was so easy for her to catch on. She gets that cool trait from her dad, everything just comes easy for them!!!
I am doing good, I love every moment of being with my girls. I have been doing a lot more hair at home so I can be near my babies, and that has been going great!!! I have done some really cute things will people’s hair lately, so naturally I am feeling good at what I do. I am missing photography though, so I think I will work on doing more photo shoots. I am also feeling a little on the creative side so I may be making some headbands for the babies too.
Thanks for checking up on us!!! I’ll post some random pictures from my point and shoot below!!!
