As some of you know these last 2 weeks we started giving the girls cereal. Well, most of you probably don’t know that this has been an adventure. Last week I started the cereal out pretty running, just like the box suggest making the transition between milk and cereal a little easier. I also would stop shortly after they started to cry, sometimes it would be almost instantly and other times we got a good few minutes of good cereal feeding. This week, however, we made the cereal thicker and instead of stopping when they cry I just keep feeding them. Now if you ask me if this is working I wouldn’t know what to tell you. Yesterday they seemed to do pretty well with it and then today was basically a disaster. They are supposed to catch on to this spoon feeding stuff right? I waited for all the things they tell you to. The babies seemed interested in our food, they sit up with support, they opened their mouths to the spoon, they turn their heads when they are finished eating. I guess this is just trying my patience and making me wonder if I am doing it correctly. I am just hoping that this will get easier.
On the bright side their messy faces make for cute pictures!!!
Adorable! Try making it a little thicker. Maybe they're crying because it's too runny. I never really made Erick's super runny like they say because well, he just wasn't having it. He likes him some substance! Just a thought, it might work, it might not.
